i thought it was the way to go
then i reached that highway
i found out that i needed four
peddlin back aint easy
when you're this far down the road
salvation's a thousand miles back
and two thousand more to go
so i'm peddlin down the road
i can feel my body burning
from trying to get up those hills
but the more that i peddle
the less that i can feel
and when it started raining
i had no where to go to stay dry
so i tried to build a little house
but the rain still got inside
so i'm peddlin down the road again
my mind burned up and my heart is full
but i'm peddling down that road
i blew my tire broke my chain
some mistakes will take everything
and you can't go forward you cant go back
stuck on the side of a broken track
